About Me

I was born in a small area in northwest Italy: Valle d’Aosta. I attended University of Torino, majoring in Italian language and literature with special focus on Music, Art, Cinema and Theater. After graduating I taught Italian literature, grammar and World history at high school level for 14 years. I also had the opportunity to teach Italian at the Lycée International de Paris.

I also taught Italian as a second language to adult students for 3 years.

My passion is literature in any language, because great writers express universal truths and passions that transcend time and culture.

The one-on-one environment of tutoring allows me to find the individual needs of my students and help them to find the joy and romance of the Italian language. That is what makes it so enjoyable. I have a good sense of humor, so my tutoring lessons tend to be fun. Educational, but fun.
